Android Admin Chat App
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m setting up a dedicated admin-only chat that will run exclusively on Android devices. The goal is a clean, secure mobile application where authenticated staff can exchange messages, share files on the go, and receive real-time push notifications whenever something needs their attention.
Core requirements
• User authentication so only verified admins gain access (email/password or another standard method is fine, just keep the flow straightforward).
• In-chat file sharing for images, PDFs and basic office docs.
• Push notifications delivered reliably even when the app is in the background.
I’m open to the tech stack you’re most productive with—Firebase, AWS Amplify, or a custom backend—so long as it meets the needs above and is maintainable on my side later. A modern Android UI (Jetpack Compose or XML) that looks sharp on both phones and tablets is preferred.
Deliverables
• Full Android Studio project with readable, well-commented code.
• Signed APK or App Bundle ready for internal distribution.
• Brief setup guide covering backend configuration, keys, and how to trigger test notifications.
Once everything is compiled and I can log in, exchange a file, and see the notification arrive instantly, I’ll consider the project successfully closed.
