All-Day Android Recorder
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a straightforward Android tablet app that can record audio continuously, while the device is powered on. The recording will run in the background while the screen sleeps, and will cut the recording every 30 minutes to create 30min audio files.
Because it will capture full-day sessions—think eight hours or more—the app must:
• The recordings must start when the device is powered on, without input from the user, and without any indication that the device is recording.
• Write to internal or external storage and automatically split files every 30 minutes, picking a common codec (MP3, WAV, AAC—whichever you deem most reliable).
• Not have any kind of user interface, completely running in the background.
• Resume after an unexpected reboot or crash.
I don’t need noise reduction, volume leveling, or any other enhancement—raw capture is fine.
Deliverables: signed APK for tablet testing, and a brief read-me covering permissions, build steps, and any special device settings. Once the test build runs a full eight-hour session without error, we can finalise.
