Budget: €2 – €6 EUR

Role Overview
An established Irish IT & Digital Marketing agency is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist with proven, real-world results to manage and scale SEO performance across multiple client accounts. This role is suited to a true SEO expert — someone who understands SEO at the strategic, technical, and entity level, not surface-level optimisation.
The successful candidate will take ownership of SEO strategy, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement across a diverse client base, with hours increasing as the agency scales.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies for multiple client websites
Full ownership of on-page, technical, and content-led SEO
Perform in-depth technical SEO audits and implement fixes
Build and manage content clusters, topical authority, and internal linking structures
Lead local SEO strategies (GBP optimisation, location pages, local entities)
Analyse competitors and SERP landscapes at an expert level
Use Search Console as a primary data source (not vanity tools alone)
Create clear, actionable SEO roadmaps per client
Monitor algorithm updates and adapt strategies accordingly
Collaborate with developers, content teams, and paid media teams
Produce high-quality monthly SEO reports focused on real growth (traffic, conversions, leads)
Required Expertise (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum 3–5+ years hands-on SEO experience
Demonstrable case studies with measurable results
Expert-level understanding of:
Technical SEO (crawlability, indexing, CWV, site architecture)
Entity-based SEO & topical authority
Local SEO at scale (multi-location, county / city pages)
Internal linking strategies
Search intent & SERP analysis
Google algorithm updates and recovery strategies
Strong experience using:
Google Search Console (advanced usage)
GA4
Ahrefs / SEMrush / similar (for analysis only, not blind reporting)
Ability to explain SEO performance in plain English to clients
Comfortable managing multiple SEO campaigns weekly
What We Are NOT Looking For
Junior or checklist-based SEOs
Keyword-stuffing or outdated link-building tactics
“Set and forget” SEO operators
Reliance on automated reports without understanding the data
Nice to Have
Experience working in an agency environment
Knowledge of Irish / UK search markets
Understanding of CRO and conversion tracking
Familiarity with large-scale local SEO structures
Experience supporting PPC or paid social teams via SEO data
Working Hours & Growth
Starting at 25 hours per week
Increase to 40 hours per week as new clients are onboarded
Long-term role for the right candidate
Opportunity to become a lead SEO authority within the agency
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide:
SEO case studies (with real metrics)
Brief overview of SEO approach/philosophy
Tools used and how they’re applied
Examples of competitive or difficult SEO wins
Why Join
Work on multiple real SEO campaigns, not theory
High level of autonomy and trust
No micromanagement
Agency actively scaling with strong client demand
SEO is treated as a core service, not an add-on
