Notion-Based App Companion Blog
Budget: $250 – $450 USD
I need a lightweight blog that lives on my own domain and works as the public companion to my app. I’m leaning toward a Notion-powered site or a similarly simple CMS, but I’m open to whatever lets me edit content quickly and keep hosting costs low.
Core requirements
• Category-based navigation so visitors can jump straight to the topics that interest them.
• Each post can host one or more document files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, etc.). A visible counter should show how many times each file has been downloaded.
• A basic analytics panel that reports total visits and breaks them down by visitor location (country/region is enough).
• Custom domain mapping so the blog sits at the URL I provide.
File submission workflow
Users will email me suggested documents as direct attachments. I want a simple back-end flow—ideally an automated inbox hook or low-code tool—that saves the attachment, lets me approve it, and then publishes it to the correct category with the download counter already enabled.
Nice-to-have (but not mandatory)
• If you can keep everything inside Notion using the public API or tools like Super, Potion, or Simple.ink, that’s great. Otherwise, recommend a similarly friction-free setup.
• A lightweight admin interface where I can manually bump download counts, move posts between categories, or tweak copy.
