We are a commercial solar company seeking an Excel expert to streamline and optimize two critical workflows:
Complex Pro Forma Restructuring: Untangle and transform an intricate financial pro forma (used for solar project proposals) into a clean, user-friendly, and error-free template. This includes simplifying inputs, automating calculations, ensuring scalability, and creating clear documentation for future users.
Marketing Project Tracking Dashboard: Develop a dynamic Excel-based system to track multiple marketing campaigns/projects, including timelines, budgets, task assignments, status updates, and performance metrics. The tool should offer real-time visibility, reporting capabilities, and integration with existing tools (if applicable).
Key Requirements:
Advanced Excel Mastery: Formulas, macros, VBA, pivot tables, data validation, dynamic dashboards, and error-checking.
Experience with Financial Models: Proven track record in building/optimizing pro formas, NPV/IRR calculations, and scenario analysis (experience in solar/renewables is a huge plus).
Template Design Skills: Ability to create intuitive, locked-down templates with clear instructions for non-technical users.
Project Tracking Expertise: Experience designing project management tools with Gantt charts, conditional formatting, and automated alerts.
Attention to Detail: Must debug complex formulas and ensure 100% accuracy.
Problem-Solving: Ability to simplify complicated workflows without sacrificing functionality.
