Conservation, WWII History & Faith Website
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I’m building a new site from absolute zero that unites three passions under one roof: vivid nature-conservation stories & real action, compelling WWII/aviation accounts, and thoughtful philosophical / faith reflections. Each theme needs its own landing page, taxonomy, and media-rich article layout so readers can dive straight into what inspires them.
Community interaction is essential, so please wire in a robust discussion forum. Registered users must be able to open threads, reply, and follow conversations inside any of the three content pillars, with straightforward moderation controls on my side.
Revenue and impact go hand in hand. The site therefore needs:
• A full product catalogue and secure checkout for merchandise, digital downloads, complete with inventory tracking, payment gateway (payment) setup, confirmation emails, and an admin dashboard.
• A donation platform that supports one-off and recurring gifts earmarked for specific conservation projects, issuing automatic tax receipts and sharing the same user accounts as the store.
From the first line of code I expect:
1. A clean, responsive build (feel free to propose WordPress, Laravel, React or another maintainable stack).
2. The three content sections linked by intuitive navigation.
3. Seamless forum integration with single sign-on.
4. Unified back-office for store orders and donations.
5. Basic SEO, analytics, and security hardening.
6. Clear documentation for future updates.
When you reply, please share relevant portfolio links, your preferred tech stack, and a realistic timeline. Quality code, accessible design, and open communication are non-negotiable; nail this phase and we’ll explore future additions like subscriptions and multilingual support.
Important to understand is that I am very much a hands on person and not at all good with computers. I know I need this platform to engage with people and receive sales and donations to grow our conservation initiatives. Important is that we focus on doing conservation effort around West Papua - Indonesia. All of the conservation we do there and also the WWII history engagement will be focussed on that part of the world. I believe there will need to be a lot and clear/frank communication to get where I want to be.
FYI. we have a company website which is fair. We have a conservation website which I think is VERY poor.
We need someone who can deliver a outstanding product!
Thanks for your attention!

Max Ammer
