Comprehensive Technical SEO Overhaul

We’re looking for an experienced SEO Expert with deep knowledge of SEOPress, technical SEO, and Australian-focused localisation.
This role involves improving organic visibility, fixing technical issues, and building high-quality backlinks to strengthen our authority across Google Australia.

You’ll be working on a live WordPress/WooCommerce site with 10K+ products and active growth plans — we need someone who can start immediately and deliver fast, results-driven optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Fix breadcrumb, schema, and structured data issues.

Address falling keyword rankings and Search Console errors.

Improve sitemap visibility and indexation.

Build high-quality backlinks with relevant Australian domains (.com.au, .org.au, etc.).

Create and implement SEO-friendly schema (products, reviews, organisation, etc.) for rich results.

Optimise for local search visibility in Australia (Google Search + Maps).

Perform regular keyword tracking, reporting, and technical audits.

Requirements:

Proven experience with SEOPress on WordPress/WooCommerce sites.

Certified or demonstrable expertise in Google Search Console, Analytics, and Google SEO best practices.

Knowledge of schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and robots.txt / canonical setup.

Strong understanding of local SEO and backlink outreach.

Must be able to start ASAP and provide weekly progress updates.

Preferred:

Google-Certified (Analytics, Ads, or SEO-related).

Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or Rank Math tools.

Previous work with Australian eCommerce or local brands.
