I need a highway-scale traffic simulation set up in PTV VISSIM that lets me study how connected and autonomous vehicles influence overall traffic flow. The core focus is traffic flow analysis; intersection management and pedestrian interaction are outside this scope, so the model can remain streamlined and highway-specific.

Here’s what I expect:

• Build or adapt a VISSIM network that represents a realistic multi-lane highway section, including typical elements such as ramps, merges, and lane drops.
• Configure vehicle fleets that mix human-driven cars with CAVs so I can vary market-penetration rates and observe resulting speed, density, and throughput changes.
• Set up demand profiles, routing, and any necessary driver-behavior or CAV logic parameters.
• Provide clear, step-by-step instructions (or a short recorded walkthrough) showing how to adjust the share of CAVs, run simulations, and export key performance indicators.
• Deliver the .inpx/.pwx files and any customized scripts or DLLs used, all neatly organized.
