Need guidance on the project

I have a final year project idea and I need to get the idea validated.
My idea is to find a person in a building with using a signal transmitting device. To add security , I plan to add the person fingerprint sensor details. So it's basically signal transmitting device integrated with a fingerprint sensor ..
The receiver device will be mounted in every room of the building.
I am thinking of using BLE technology or Ultra wide band. But I have no idea to integrate the fingerprint sensor to the device that is transmitting the signal.
I need only the guidance and verification of the idea.
