3.3 V-to-6 V Pulse Converter
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I’m running a Teensy 4.1 that delivers a 0 – 3.3 V square wave at 80 kHz. For my signal-transmission stage I must boost that logic-level waveform to a clean +6 V amplitude, powered from an existing 13 V rail. Because the downstream chain mixes analog and digital circuitry, frequency stability, waveform accuracy, and strong noise immunity are all critical; edges need to stay sharp without ringing or overshoot, duty cycle must remain intact, and added jitter should be negligible.
Here’s what I’d like from you:
• A proven conversion topology (discrete driver, high-speed op-amp, gate driver, or any suitable approach) that takes 0 – 3.3 V in and produces a solid +6 V square wave at 80 kHz.
• Schematic with full component values, part numbers, and a concise explanation of how each stage maintains edge integrity.
• SPICE or other simulation results showing amplitude, rise/fall times, and noise
I already have the 13 V supply available on the board, so the design should draw from that rail and avoid additional isolated supplies. As long as the final output is a steady +6 V square wave at 80 kHz with minimal distortion, I’m open to clever component choices or integrated solutions.
