I’m building a pair of in-ear headphones that must rival the best studio cans when it comes to silence, so I need a complete Active Noise Cancelling circuit engineered from the ground up. The goal is professional-grade attenuation—think deep-plane, recording-booth quiet, not just everyday hum reduction.

You’ll be responsible for the entire analog + digital signal-chain: reference mic pre-amps, error sensing, adaptive filter topology, power management that fits inside an earbud form factor, and the firmware that keeps it all stable. Space, heat and battery life are tight, so component count and quiescent current matter as much as raw dB knock-down.

I’m comfortable reviewing Spice sims in LTspice or PSpice, schematic capture in Altium or KiCad, and firmware in C or assembly for a small DSP or MCU. Feel free to propose alternate tools if they cut board spins.

Deliverables I need to sign off on:
• Schematics and PCB layout files ready for fabrication
• Bill of Materials with part numbers that are currently orderable
• Firmware/algorithm source with build instructions
• Bench test report showing frequency-dependent attenuation, THD and latency

Target spec: sustained ≥30 dB reduction between 50 Hz-1.5 kHz with total latency below 300 µs.
