NFC Pressure Sensor PCB Finalization

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I already have a working proof-of-concept for a tiny, battery-free pressure sensor that sits on a flexible PCB and chats with a coin-sized rigid reader board over 13.56 MHz NFC.
The system reads analog signals from a set of strain gauges, processes the signal, and transmits digital data to a receiver. The receiver handles basic data interpretation and drives a 7-segment display using a microcontroller.

I have most of the work done, like part list, general layout, and mechanical engineering, but I don't feel like learning new software, so this will be a fairly easy project for someone with experience I assume.

Scope of Work:
• Finalize schematic designs for both sensor and receiver
• Select suitable low-power components (NFC chip, amplifier, MCU, etc.)
• Design for manufacturability (DFM) for flex PCB + rigid PCB
• Output ready-to-order Gerber files and BOM
• Optional: assist with KiCad schematic cleanup and organization
Requirements:
• Experience with NFC/RFID antenna design and passive power systems
• Experience designing compact electronics (flex PCB is a plus)
• Familiarity with KiCad or Flux
• Understanding of signal conditioning and discrete digital signal generation
• Knowledge of low-voltage analog front ends for sensor interfaces
Deliverables:
• Schematics and PCB layouts (KiCad preferred)
• Gerber files, BOM, and netlists for both boards
• Component library additions if needed
• PDF documentation of the layout (optional but helpful)
Additional Notes:
• This is a non-continuous measurement system — active only when triggered via a button
• Project is intended for custom hardware prototyping (not yet a commercial product)
• You’ll be working closely with a solo inventor/engineer for revisions and validation
