AD7512-ADG5436 Switch Migration
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
My existing design relies on the AD7512 protected dual SPDT CMOS analog switch in a 14-pin PDIP package. Production stock has vanished, so I am moving to the Analog Devices ADG5436BRUZ. The new part satisfies the electrical requirements for signal-routing but comes in a different package, so the schematic, footprint, and potentially the board layout must be updated.
