About Us-
Respira Botanicals is a fast-growing herbal wellness brand starting with organic teas. We sell through Amazon FBA and Shopify, with plans to expand into additional products and channels.
We’re looking for an experienced E-Commerce Bookkeeper who understands the unique challenges of Amazon/Shopify accounting. The role is part-time contract (~5–10 hrs/month to start) with potential to scale as we add SKUs and sales channels.
Responsibilities-
Manage books in QuickBooks Online.
Use A2X (or Link My Books) to reconcile Amazon and Shopify payouts.
Record COGS and landed cost adjustments (product, freight, duties, packaging).
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts weekly.
Close books monthly (by 5th business day).
Provide clean P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow reports.
Track and categorize expenses (ads, freelancers, software, FBA fees).
Maintain basic SOPs/checklists for financial processes.
Support CPA during quarterly reviews and tax prep.
Qualifications-
Proven experience bookkeeping for Amazon/Shopify e-commerce brands.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
Hands-on use of A2X (or similar connector).
Understanding of COGS, FBA fees, and landed cost concepts.
Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable.
Clear communicator with ability to deliver reports on schedule.
Must Have
Experience with sales tax reconciliation (Amazon Marketplace Facilitator + Shopify Tax).
Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, GA4, or ad platform spend tracking.
Compensation-
Flat monthly retainer (based on experience and scope).
Long-term role with potential to grow as company scales.
