We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelancer to set up the infrastructure-as-code (IAC) for a serverless architecture, develop AWS Lambda functions, and create a Python wrapper for our API. This project involves implementing a system similar to Pinecone, but with a unique change in the storage technology.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **IAC Setup for Serverless Infrastructure:**
- Establish the serverless infrastructure on AWS.
- Configure components including Amazon Route 53, API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon Neptune, Amazon Cognito, AWS Payment Gateway Integration, Amazon S3, AWS IAM, and Amazon CloudWatch.
2. **Lambda Function Development:**
- Develop AWS Lambda functions to handle API requests.
- Ensure Lambda functions can perform CRUD operations on vector data in Amazon Neptune.
- Integrate Lambda functions with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) for payment processing.
- Enable Lambda functions to interact with Amazon S3 for file handling.
3. **Python API Wrapper Creation:**
- Develop a Python wrapper for the API to facilitate easy interaction and integration.
- Ensure the wrapper supports authentication, request throttling, and routing as per the API Gateway setup.
4. **Testing and Deployment:**
- Rigorously test the system for reliability, security, and performance.
- Deploy the infrastructure and ensure seamless integration of all components.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in AWS services, especially in setting up serverless architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience in creating API wrappers.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Amazon Neptune, and other AWS services mentioned.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Experience with payment gateway integrations is a plus.
