Windows EC2 AWS Networking issue

I have two AWS EC2 Windows instances that can ping eachother and connect to shared drives using IP address, but cant be seen over UNC \\ path or in the windows Network Browser. I have turned off all firewalls in windows on both computers and they are on the same security instance with all ports open. Need to see why im having this problem.
