Website Development RFP

Job ID: 33875829

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Project overview: launching a new gaming website for the Pre-K demo and are in need of a website that will have the following page categories:
- HTML5 games (via iframes)
- Video
- eBooks
- Downloadable content
- Blog
- Homepage with animated intro

Company background: We have a long-running history within the kids learning and gaming vertical. We're now expanding one of our IPs into a younger demographic while maintaining a focus on gaming.

Our timeline is to launch the full site in mid-August meaning your work must be completed by July 20th.

Project goals: The goal of this website is to create a child-friendly mobile-first experience. Our core demographic is 2-5-year-olds, so the site must be intuitive and mobile responsive as they will likely play across a variety of devices.

Website scope: While we have an initial design to work off of, we are looking for additional feedback and direction to create a friendly user experience via thoughtful UI. You will not be responsible for developing every content page on the website, however, we will need page templates for all the categories listed above, a blog page, and an individual blog posts page.

Ideally, you also know the fundamentals of SEO to ensure the basics are incorporated into the HTML of each page (we can provide the details of what to use).

Budget: Please provide the scope and cost you think is necessary within your proposal.

RFP Timeline: Proposals will be reviewed on Monday, June 13th. We will follow up with candidates on June 14th and have a final decision by the 16th.

Submission requirements: Proposals should include an outline of scope, who will be working on the project, a portfolio of projects that we can contact for references, and costs. Additional information on why you and/or your team are the right fit, including past experience, is appreciated. Experience with gaming and/or kids' sites is a plus.

Please submit your proposal as an attached file. Responses must be detailed and cover all of the criteria. Responses to this job posting that do not include the submission requirements will be immediately disqualified from the RFP process.
