Site Reliability Engineer (From India)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Looking for INDIVIDUAL Freelancers to work with our Enterprise Clients.
Project Duration: 6 months. (extendible for another 6 months).
Remuneration: 6k-8k INR/Day.
Availability required: Full-time (9-6pm IST Mon-Fri).
- Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Must have 4+ years of total experience in IT.
JD:
Responsibilities:
IT Software engineering Development & Operations (Production support, Incident Management & Maintenance) support
experience
Monitor Production Systems/Servers (on-premise and Cloud)
Design, implementation and maintenance of application Servers
Identify, implement and monitor system performance metrics
Timely resolution of errors and outages in production systems
Conduct periodic audits of certificates (Inc. expiry dates)
Backup and restore of servers and databases
Managing achievement of SLAs
Planning and implementing improvements to infrastructure
Automate all aspects of their production infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure, testing and code deployment.
Improve system reliability and quality
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by automating existing processes.
Maintain detailed technical knowledge of Product Engineering's systems and services. Assist in the development and
maintenance of technical standards and support documentation.
Work with Agile teams; participate in planning and review meetings, and complete project deliverables.
Assisting with establishing standard practices for CICD, Deploy infrastructure
Perform root cause analysis of issues and suggest corrective actions working in collaboration with Developers and
Engineers and providing technical assistance to improve system reliability.
Have demonstrated ability scripting or coding with languages like Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, or Bash
Proven experience in Incident management with Business and IT stakeholders
Nice to have skills: API and Microservices development experience
Mandatory Skills Required:
AWS or GCP Cloud Expertise
Windows Server Admin
SQL Server experience (managing servers with SQL)
Good knowledge of DevOps principles & practices
Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Incident Issue Management experience
System monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus etc.
Linux system experience is desirable
Experience in developing, scaling and supporting micro-service and event-driven architectures
Excellent written and verbal communication & collaboration skills
Fluent in shell/scripting languages
Production support & Maintenance experience.
