Senior contributor on enhancement and support activities within a Continuous Delivery Pipeline DevOps team using the agile process. A substantial responsibility area will be the provisioning of physical and virtual servers.
Must have a strong CDP mindset and drive for improvement.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Typically, 8-10 years’ experience
Key Responsibilities
• Within an agile development lifecycle, contribute to all enhancement Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP) activities including planning, design, implementation with the CDP toolset in use including, but not limited to, Jenkins, Docker and Docker Swarm.
• Support server virtualization solutions for the supported teams. This includes provisioning and maintenance of core hosting servers as well has virtual software solutions (Suse Open Stack, VMWare, Kubernetes, OneView)
• Triage of failed jobs, resolution or working with development teams to resolve quickly.
• Contribute to all agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to planning and feature/user story refinement activities as required.
• Accurate and timely maintenance of user stories in Agile Central and issues in GitHub.
• Documentation of new features, process etc. in Confluence wiki for use by CDP team and development teams.
• Contribute to the development of new ideas, process improvements and providing direction and guidance for improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience in building deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker/Docker Swarm and others.
• Proven knowledge and experience with SAFe methodology
Strong knowledge and experience with the following technologies:
o Jenkins (on Linux)
o GitHub
o Infrastructure as code with Ansible
o Windows, RedHat
o Shell scripting and/or Python/Golang
o HashiCorp tools: Consul, Terraform, Vault
o Physical and virtual server provisioning
o Suse Open Stack Cloud (SOC), VMWare, Kubernetes
Familiarity with the following technologies is desirable:
o Java, Perl, Python, Ruby
o Fitnesse, Selenium
o HA proxy and Nginx
o Container pilot, Consul-template
o Agile Central
• Experience in Agile methodologies, experience of having worked in Agile projects and usage of tools like Agile Central, Confluence
• Good relationship management skills
• Leadership ability including coaching
• Strong oral and written communications skill
• Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Must be a good team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other teammates.
• Ability to work effectively in Global teams
Should have good experience on anyone Cloud - AWS Azure GCP and strong expertise in Terraform
Should take control of screen on Anydesk \ Zoom Meeting
Working on a day-to-task and update our employers and clear their doubts and queries on task
Should have good communication skills
Should be aware of the latest technologies related to DevOps
Monday to Friday daily 8 Hours
Daily one timing will be fixed Should be available in fixed timings As of being a committee
As per your skill set will be providing projects you should get engaged with clients and support them on their tasks.
