SSL activation in AWS

I have a small problem with AWS Amazon Hosting. I have installed a Wordpress site there. The domain is transferred from another hosting via DNS. Now a new SSL certificate has to be activated in AWS. I have the certificate. But I can't manage to activate it.
Strangely enough, the missing SSL also has an effect on receiving emails. The domain is currently unable to receive emails.
