Revamp MartaRide App & AWS Infrastructure

Job ID: 38915207

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I am reaching out to seek help regarding several issues I am currently facing with my MartaRide app and its AWS infrastructure. Below is a detailed summary of the problems and history:

### **1. Background Information:**
- MartaRide is a rideshare app built to operate in Uganda. It has a website, admin panel, and mobile app for both drivers and customers.
- The infrastructure for the app is hosted on AWS, and the app heavily depends on its services for operation.
Backend is in PHP and the frontend is Android
Backend is already embedded in the AWS server

### **2. Problems with the App:**
- **Website Not Working:** The MartaRide website is currently down, and users cannot access it.
- **Admin Panel Inaccessible:** The admin panel, which is critical for managing the platform, is not functional.
- **Mobile App Issues:** Both the driver and customer apps are showing errors, such as "Network Error" and failure to connect to the backend. This is severely affecting operations.
- **Country Mismatch:** I suspect there may be a country mismatch in the app configuration, causing connectivity problems in Uganda.

### **3. AWS Account History:**
- Recently, one of the **AWS Access Keys** (AKIA2NF5A3JORMNMGV4A) was deleted using the root account. This seems to have disrupted the app’s connectivity to AWS services.
- The AWS CloudTrail logs show that the deletion was performed from an IP address (174.90.223.147) on November 7, 2024.
- Several AWS regions were disabled in my account, which might also affect the app’s connectivity. I’ve re-enabled the necessary regions, but the problem persists.
- The app uses services like EC2, S3, RDS, and others, but I suspect some configurations might have been affected by the deleted access keys.

### **4. Current Steps Taken:**
- I’ve attempted to enable regions and review the AWS configurations, but I lack the technical expertise to fully resolve the issues.
- I’ve posted a request on AWS IQ to find an expert to help resolve these issues, including website downtime, admin panel access, app connectivity, and AWS configurations.

### **5. What I Need Help With:**
- Restoring the functionality of the MartaRide website, admin panel, and mobile apps.
- Checking and fixing AWS configurations to ensure the app works seamlessly in Uganda.
- Investigating and resolving any issues related to the deleted AWS Access Key.
- Verifying if the app has a country mismatch or other backend issues.
- Optimizing the AWS infrastructure to prevent future problems.

This situation is urgent as the app’s operations are entirely dependent on AWS. Please let me know if you can help or if you can recommend someone experienced with AWS and app development.

In summary i am interested in someone who has in depth knowledge and, experience in android php aws and rideshare apps who can make the app robust able to handle thousands of data swiftly without getting crush or stuck, and who,can add more features like food delivery
