Long term, React/AWS/Steam Chat API work
First thing that needs to be done is replace all instances of the name of the old app in the code
and in aws and make sure everything still works. You'll be given private access to the code base, as well as an IAM login for AWS to make sure everything remains working. AWS is mainly configed with Lambdas, AWS amplify.
The code work should all be easy to complete with a quick find/replace. What will need to be verified is making sure then that whatever you change any of the AWS configs too gets changed in AWS.
