As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure on the AWS platform. You will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance our continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AWS services, proficiency in GitHub Actions, and a passion for automating and streamlining processes.
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Platform Expertise:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS infrastructure.
Work with various AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CDK, SQS, DynamoDB etc. and more to optimize system architecture.
GitHub Actions Implementation:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate GitHub Actions seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Ensure version control and proper documentation of infrastructure configurations.
Automation and Scripting:
Script automation tasks using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Continuously seek opportunities to automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Monitoring and Logging:
Implement monitoring solutions for microservices built on AWS and applications.
Configure logging and alerting to ensure proactive issue identification and resolution.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure infrastructure meets performance and security standards.
Provide documentation and training as needed to promote knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
