Optimize AWS RDS MariaDB Performance

I'm in need of a proficient AWS MariaDB expert to optimize the performance of my setup. My setup is currently plagued with slow query responses, hence the need for an experienced hand.
Setup RDS Proxy
Key Duties:
- Integrate Lambda functions, S3 storage, and CloudWatch monitoring with my AWS RDS MariaDB setup.
- Create and setup a RDS Proxy that is also optimized for better performance and reduced latency.
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience on AWS services especially AWS RDS MariaDB and AWS RDS Proxy.
- Proven track in managing slow query responses and resource-intensive transactions.
- Experience in improving scalability and management of AWS services.
Setup RDS Proxy
