1. AWS EC2 Setup:
Configure an EC2 instance running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
Install Docker on the instance.
Set up an EMQX MQTT broker in a Docker container.
Configure security groups to allow access to ports 1883 (MQTT connections) and 18083 (management interface).
Assign an Elastic IP for consistent access.
2. EMQX Configuration:
Set up the EMQX broker to receive and process data from wireless sensors.
Add user authentication and ensure secure access to the broker.
3. Wireless Sensor Integration:
Connect temperature and humidity sensors to the MQTT broker.
Ensure data is published under appropriate MQTT topics (e.g., temperature, humidity).
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with topic values or data retrieval.
4. Testing and Documentation:
Verify that temperature and humidity data are being received by the MQTT broker.
Test the setup using MQTT Explorer or a similar tool.
Provide detailed documentation of the setup, including configurations and steps for future maintenance.
