Linux Engineer for AWS EC2 HPC Setup (SLURM + MPI)
Budget: $7 – $30 USD
We are looking for a Linux engineer to set up a scientific computing environment on AWS EC2.
The work includes:
Selecting the most suitable AWS EC2 instance type for CPU-intensive workloads
Launching and configuring the EC2 instance
Installing and configuring SLURM
Installing MPI-based software
Setting up PostgreSQL and a message broker
Creating Python virtual environment
Configuring high-performance scratch storage
Verifying that parallel jobs run correctly
(no GUI required).
We will share full technical details after initial discussion.
