Kubernetes/EKS Setup and Optimization on AWS
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need a skilled Kubernetes and AWS professional to assist in setting up and optimizing my existing Kubernetes clusters running on AWS's Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Key Tasks:
We have a clean terraform install of K8S running on AWS (EKS).
We need some updates and some help solving issues.
1. We need the terraform script updated to use 1.30 of K8S
2. We need the terraform script updated to add a redis Serverless service.
3. When starting the pods they are stuck pending because of PVC errors - failed to provision volume with StorageClass "gp2": rpc error: code = Internal desc = Could not create volume - We need this resolved.
4. We need to check that one of the pods and cloudshell can access the redis server
We will give access to the AWS Console.
When everything is resolved we will need to run destroy on terraform and then reload to check everything is working from scratch.
The successful candidate for this project should have:
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, particularly on AWS's EKS.
- Proven track record in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
