Description of the Project:
We are looking for a highly skilled freelance Kubernetes AWS EKS Specialist to provision, configure, and document an AWS Kubernetes cluster using Terraform, strictly adhering to specified technical and security standards. This specialist role is crucial for establishing foundational infrastructure for future implementations.
Specific Scope of Work:
The Kubernetes AWS EKS Specialist will be exclusively responsible for:
- Provisioning an AWS EKS Kubernetes cluster formally using Terraform.
- Configuring EC2 cluster nodes with the predefined IAM OperationsRole.
- Implementing and validating the Cluster Autoscaler.
- Documenting all Kubernetes cluster configurations, ensuring clarity and continuous auditability.
This specialist will exclusively utilize AWS resources (AWS account, IAM roles, VPC, and subnets) previously configured by other specialists.
Mandatory Technical Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
- Verifiable AWS certifications (mandatory).
- Proven experience using Terraform in AWS environments.
- Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate, and audited technical documentation.
- Immediate availability to strictly follow formal and audited technical procedures.
Mandatory Technical Deliverables:
- Formally audited documentation detailing AWS Kubernetes cluster configurations.
- Formally audited and documented Terraform code (.tf files structured clearly).
- Formal audit records of all Kubernetes and AWS resources created (IDs and ARNs).
- Audited technical evidence (screenshots).
All deliverables must strictly follow the specific format provided by the company.
Payment Conditions:
Payments will occur in two clearly defined stages:
1. Initial Payment (75%): Upon rigorous verification of total compliance with each specific technical deliverable required for this stage.
2. Final Payment (25% Guarantee): Reserved as a guarantee and released exclusively after successful completion of a comprehensive technical audit covering the infrastructure implemented by all freelance specialists involved, estimated within 4 to 6 weeks after initiating this contract.
