Jamf Setup & Deployment Configuration
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I need to get Jamf Pro fully configured so 25 macOS laptops can be enrolled and deployed smoothly in a business environment. The Jamf cloud instance is already live; what’s missing is the initial ground-up configuration and a repeatable deployment workflow.
Here’s what must be in place before we roll the machines out:
• Security settings – baseline macOS hardening (FileVault, Gatekeeper, password policies, screen-lock timers, etc.) delivered through configuration profiles and enforced via smart groups.
• Software installation – automated deployment of our standard business apps and any required Jamf policies or scripts to keep them updated.
• User accounts setup – creation of a local admin, a standard user for employees, and mapping to our existing directory service so login is seamless on first boot.
Success means a brand-new Mac can be unboxed, enrolled in Jamf Pro, and within minutes apply the above profiles, install the approved software, and hand the employee a secure, ready-to-work device with correct account permissions.
We also need to enroll a number of existing Mac's into Jamf making sure they maintain the existing user profile.
Jamf must be configured to use SSO from Microsoft (this is already done).
If you’ve done similar macOS rollouts through Jamf, I’d like to tap into that experience and get this project wrapped quickly.
