Help us scale our application for 1,000,000 users
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We are a cybersecurity training startup with 5000 users. We have just landed a client that could have us at 1million users by year-end .... so we need help to scale!
If you have DIRECT PERSONAL experience (recent and relevant) in taking a web-based custom application to scale, please connect with us. Not theoretical or "I worked on a team that did this"... YOU personally did the work, learned the lessons, worked through the mistakes, identified the application's and environment's weak spots, and implemented the solutions needed for success. You must be an expert, ready to hit the ground running.
Our application is php-based, built in code ignitor & laravel, hosted on AWS. We have already setup a load ELB, beanstalk, Amazon RDS, CloudFront etc, with automated pipelines... so we aren't amateurs, but we are ready for a sharp-shooting genius to take us to the next level.
You will report to our CTO, and work alongside our senior development lead to scale (up and out) our current application and environment, identifying weaknesses in our application, and the solutions needed to fix them, creating devops tasks to hand to our developers, and, above all, be an excellent english-speaking communicator.
This would be a contract position. You will work remotely with our distributed development team in the EST/PST timezone range, ready to start work in the coming month or so.
