Google Datastudio Expert

The situation I have is that we have lots of data currently on our own MSSQL server on Amazon AWS. I want to get data into Google Data Studio so that reports can be created for sales, inventory and lots of other things. But it doesn't appear that Google Data Studio lets you connect to MsSQL directly so that's why I assume we'll need to use BigQuery to store data.

I'm assuming the way the data is stored in our tables currently would probably be very inefficient so I'm guessing that new types of tables would be setup to make sure the reporting can go smoother. But I've never used their system so I'm not sure.

We have a Google Workspace account so I'd want all the data and reports to be housed under our accounts as well
