Experienced Web Developer for Used Car Site

We need an experienced developer/team to take over a partially deployed website built for a used car history reporting service (UK-based). The current site has been deployed, and we have full documentation and codebase from the previous team.

Key Tasks:

Review changes to be made. I will provide a list

Enhance the checkout process to be as frictionless as possible:

Allow users to pay via Stripe with minimal input

Implement a post-payment user account setup (or automatically email reports with account details)

Refine the frontend/backend:

Ensure a fluid layout that fully utilizes 100% of the screen width on desktop/tablet/mobile, as per our Figma designs.

Address any issues with font sizes, spacing, and responsiveness.

Integrate any pending features from our documentation (e.g., PDF report download, API call handling, etc.)

I have new designs for the front end and backend which need to be implimented

Requirements:

Proven experience with responsive web design (fluid/elastic layouts)

Expertise in integrating Stripe payments and handling secure, post-payment flows

Strong communication skills; must be able to review existing documentation and quickly understand and enhance our system

Ability to work independently and ensure quality code handover
