Experienced DevOps Engineer Needed for Cloud Infrastructure Management

DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, CI/CD)
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS & Terraform Infrastructure Specialist) who can help us manage, optimize, and extend our cloud infrastructure.
Preferred: Familiarity with Rails and/or Next.js application deployment is a plus.
Initially, you will work 8–16 hours weekly to understand our existing setup, complete initial tasks like migrating some resources into Terraform, and deploy using Terraform infra.
Once familiar with the environment, we will take the next step to rotate all the ENV values in AWS Secret and Github Environments secrets and variables, for security purposes. Additionally, we will document these steps to rotate again in the future.
Once these steps are done, we expect ad-hoc availability for ongoing support and enhancements.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing and deploying AWS infrastructure.
Expertise in Terraform for managing IaC.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
Proficient in managing containerized applications on AWS ECS or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and AWS services.
Experience with monitoring tools and log management (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack).
Proficient in shell scripting and automation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
