Ecommerce Marketplace API research analyst
Budget: $10 – $40 USD
(for this position you really need to understand what is an Ecommerce Marketplace and the challenge of formatting a product feed before it can be submitted to such Marketplace)
Do you know how to make an API call into an Ecommerce Marketplace in order to publish a product or products?
IF you do and ONLY if you do know how to do that,
then you might be interested in this project.
This project is long term and NOT a quick one.
We need someone who knows where to find information on the Ecommerce Marketplaces such as Etsy, NewEgg, eBay, Amazon, Rakuten... deliver those to us, but also how to use information to format product feeds and other related ecommerce data frames.
Example of data to find is :
- Data/files needed to discover all the primary and subcategories offered by that Marketplace.
- The List of Valid values for a particular field
- The list of required fields that have to be summitted in a product feed.
- How many type product feeds are possible for this marketplace (i.e: Category Specific, Inventory Loader,...)
These above will be the basis of elements we will ask you to find.
Once found, then we will ask you to create a script/pseudo-code(for now) most likely to download/obtain that data and also to format/upload the product feeds.
A whole big other section will have to do with acquiring the "orders" (a customer might get from that platform) and the API to be used for that to happen.
