Create FTP Access for New EC2 Instance (Wordpress Installation)

I am looking for a freelancer to create FTP access for my new EC2 instance, which already has a WordPress installation set up. I have an existing AWS account and require standard security measures for the FTP access. The ideal freelancer should have experience in AWS and WordPress installations, as well as knowledge in implementing standard security measures.
The specific issue is not being able to upload plugins, media or other issues. I have attempted to set this up but fear that I have made a mistake which I'm struggling to rectify.
