We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS architecture design, backend development, and AWS services integration. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and integrating scalable cloud solutions for our projects. This is a contract-based freelance position with the opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Develop and maintain backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Integrate various AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and others into our infrastructure.
• Create efficient CI/CD pipelines and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Optimize application performance and monitor cloud environments to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues within the cloud infrastructure.
• Provide documentation for architecture designs, processes, and implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and backend development.
• Expert knowledge of AWS services and best practices, including but not limited to:
• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, IAM, S3.
• Strong hands-on experience with serverless applications and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Node.js, Java, or similar.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and IAM roles in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, DataDog, or Prometheus.
