Convert my AWS ec2 instance

i want to convert my ec3 instance t2.large to t3a.xlarge/t4g.xlarge
(which is a nitro-based instance), whenever I tried to change earlier, it did not pass checks.
Also, i need to reduce my EBS volume from 700 GB to 400 GB
