Connect AWS Light Sail/Ubantu MySQL database Server to external Server

I am in need of a freelancer who is capable of connecting an Amazon Web Services Lightsail server to an external server. This connection needs to be established securely, while also having an existing MySQL database server running on Ubuntu. The freelancer must have experience with AWS Lightsail, and be able to set up this connection quickly and efficiently. Those with previous experience of connecting an external server to AWS Lightsail will be given preference.
