We planned to Migrate our infrastructure to the cloud, so looking for a guy who can help us with migration, and set up a cost-effective and reliable solution, should have the below skills,
Strong technical skills: The person must have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud computing technologies, including virtualization, networking, storage, and security. They should also have expertise in the cloud platform(s) they will be working with, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience in infrastructure migration: The person should have experience in migrating IT infrastructure from on-premises to cloud environments. They should be familiar with the tools and techniques used in migration, such as server replication, data transfer, and database migration.
Knowledge of DevOps practices: A good understanding of DevOps practices is essential for setting up and managing cloud infrastructure. This includes knowledge of automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Strong project management skills: The person should be able to manage projects effectively and deliver on-time and within budget. They should be able to communicate clearly with stakeholders, manage risks, and coordinate with team members.
Strong problem-solving skills: The person should be able to identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during migration and set up. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively to find solutions.
