Cache error in AWS Cloudfront

I have deployed my react website on AWS S3 bucket and cloudfront serves the website.
After updating the website, I also invalidate the files but upon browsing the website, browser serves me cached pages.
Either there is configuration issues with browser cache or CloudFront cache.
