Assistance setting up PHP CodeDeploy in AWS

I am new to AWS CodeDeploy. I have a basic PHP application in CodeCommit and a target EC2 Instance that I want to deliver the code base to in a very basic form. No 'build' as such - just basically take the code base from a repository in CodeCommit and get to that to the target instance.
I have done most of the setup but it fails at the final deploy stage and I need help to figure out why.
