Amazon seller's account

I am a teacher trainer and have written a number of books in English and in German. I live in Europe and have been selling the German version of my books mainly on amazon.de. I have now translated the books into English and want to sell them on amazon.com and have just realized that amazon.com has a completely different way of selling books than the German version of Amazon.

I am confused and do not know how to set up my seller account.
I started doing it myself and I'm not sure if what I did was correct and how to continue.

Could someone please help me with this?
I realize this is not a major project and I do not need help (at least at the moment) in setting up an advertising campaign. It is enough if someone can set it up for me and explain how it works.

So I am looking for an Amazon expert for a relatively small project who speaks very good English or German.

Who can help me with this?
