Amazon SES Integrated Email Server Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an email server configured to send via Amazon SES.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with Amazon SES is crucial.
- Understanding of email server configuration is crucial.
Skills Needed:
- Expertise in setting up email servers.
- Proficiency in Amazon SES.
I want to have my own email server, likely to run in a VPS. An example might be the open source Mailcow. EAsy enough for me to deploy this into a VPS. However, for the email accounts that I add to this server, I want them to all send through Amazon SES.
I have an Amazon SES account, and I know how to validate domains and email accounts on it. I do Not know how to 1) properly setup/configure the email server, and 2) to instruct the email server that any email address added to it should send through my Amazon SES.
This might not be a custom deployment of the email server, rather it might simply be how I add an email account - the settings I incorportate that directs all outbound mails through the Amazon SES account.
3) I also do not understand some of the details of working with Amazon SES, for which I might need an hour or two of consultation.
The purpose here is that I run bull email campaigns, sending roughly 200,000 emails out each month. I use a third party campaigning tool/CRM for this. This third part tool cannot be configured to send through Amazon SES, it simply allows me to add a standard Office 365, Google Workspace, or IMAP email account. So I would therefore need to have the outbound routing management handled through the email account on this VPS email server.
For someone knowledgeable and qualified here, this should only be a few hours work, plus maybe some consultation now and then moving forward.
