What skills and experience are we looking for?
IT Infrastructure background with a clear understanding of Network Security, Virtualization, Cloud, Storage, and Datacentres.
Strong technical and analytical capabilities and understanding of complexities of large IT environments.
Hands-On experience in the following AWS Services: (EC2, Web Services, EBS, VPC, Auto scaling, ELB, Route 53, Amazon Cloud Front, AWS Cloud Trail, Amazon Cloud Watch, AWS Code Deploy, Cloud Watch, Security Groups, Lambda, S3 Object Storage). Experience of similar services on other platforms like GCP & Azure is an added advantage.
Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross-technology administration (OS, Storage, virtual networks, load balancers, IAM, policies), execution of scripting, and monitoring automation.
Knowledge of a backend development framework e.g., Python. Node.js etc will be preferred.
Manage connectivity between on-premise and cloud solutions
Good knowledge of cloud-based backup and data security tools
Resolve technical issues ranging from business applications, servers, networks, and site outages.
Role and Responsibilities
To understand business requirements, system architecture and application flow.
Implementation, maintenance, monitoring and upgradation of the existing cloud architecture.
Designing the cloud structure to meet all the IT needs of the company.
Migration planning and implementation of existing applications to the cloud system.
Work in sync with the development team and the other teams to ensure the best use of the cloud for the organization.
Security of the whole cloud system at various levels.
Training and mentoring the team members who are involved or in contact with the cloud structure.
Documentation of cloud infrastructure design processes and procedures.
Cost Optimization of the cloud system.
