AWS VPC Transit Gateway Configuration

I'm seeking experienced AWS professionals to set up a VPC Transit Gateway for connecting my VPCs. As a seasoned AWS practitioner, your skill set will include but not be limited to:
* Proficient in working within the AWS ecosystem
* Prior experience in setting up a VPC Transit Gateway connecting VPCs specifically
* Ability to advise, guide, and implement traffic engineering for optimal routing

The project will involve the following:
* Configuring a VPC Transit Gateway on my AWS
* Linking the above Gateway with my VPCs
* Assisting in deciding whether we should opt for custom or standard traffic rules and implementing the same.

Again, I would benefit from your expert opinion on implementing traffic engineering rules for routing decisions.
