Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cloud technologies, data integration, and architecture design. This role will primarily involve guiding the team in creating accurate architecture solutions based on specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support our solutions team in creating and validating the current architecture for proposals.
Review and provide recommendations for our cloud solutions architecture.
Guide the development team in data migration using Informatica Cloud Services with Change Data Capture (CDC).
Recommend best practices for cloud architecture and data integration.
Advise on best practices for security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems.
Provide technical expertise and support in utilizing Snowflake, AWS Glue, and other relevant cloud technologies.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
Experience with Data Build Tool (DBT)
Familiarity with Denodo data virtualization platform
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) are a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
