AWS Network & Security Engineer Needed
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are looking for an experienced AWS Network and Security Engineer to assist with the configuration, optimization, and security of our AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS networking, security, and storage, as well as hands-on experience with VPC peering and MongoDB Atlas. Additionally, the candidate should be able to design and implement a robust S3 backup strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and manage VPC peering between AWS VPC and MongoDB Atlas to ensure secure and efficient communication.
Implement and maintain AWS network security best practices, including security groups, NACLs, and VPN configurations.
Design and execute a S3 backup job strategy for storing backups and ensuring data durability and security.
Evaluate and recommend improvements for networking, security, and storage configurations to optimize AWS-based applications.
Review the existing AWS application architecture and propose enhancements for better performance, cost optimization, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve any network, security, or storage issues within AWS.
Document processes, configurations, and strategies for future reference.
Requirements:
Proven experience with AWS networking (VPC, VPN, VPC Peering, Direct Connect).
Strong understanding of AWS security services, including IAM, Security Groups, and NACLs.
Proficiency in configuring and managing VPC peering with MongoDB Atlas.
Experience with S3 storage management and backup strategies.
Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and EC2 in relation to application deployment.
Ability to assess current AWS infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement.
Strong troubleshooting skills with AWS network and security issues.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas security and networking.
Experience with auto-scaling, load balancing, and CloudWatch for monitoring AWS services.
Understanding of AWS KMS for data encryption.
Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD integration in AWS.
