AWS Lambda JavaScript and SyncroMSP API

Looking for a lambda "function" that can query SyncroMSP and create/close tickets as appropriate. We get a few email alerts when IP monitors detect that a connection is up/down. The subject of the email will be - Gateway ABC_#_XXX Came Up, Gateway ABC_#_XXX Went Down. These are "matching" events. Our email processing will create a ticket on each of these events. The idea here is to close a matching "down" ticket if a matching Up condition comes in. If a Down condition email comes in, it will create the ticket by the exsting email to ticket function. The only time the script would need to do something at this time is to close an existing ticket. The input to the script will be : email_subject that will match an existing ticket in Syncro.
