AWS Lambda & Fauna Troubleshooting

We require assistance troubleshooting an existing application that uses AWS SAM, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway (Websocket), aws-skd-js & Fauna.

Our issue seems to be related to this issue: https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-js/issues/3773 where stale connections are not deleted.
