Hi there! We are a machine learning company with a small team solving a problem in a large industry.
We ingest PDF files ranging between 1-35,000 pages, convert them to images, run them through Textract (OCR), use the results to run through machine learning models to identify which documents exist within the PDFs and extract data from them.
Our deliverables include a bookmarked or indexed PDF and extracted data such as names, addresses, along with a slew of other data points.
We currently have a solution using mostly lambda and step functions to orchestrate the processing of these PDF files, however, it was built in increments as we were learning.
We are looking for someone to stabilize and support our existing infrastructure while coming up with possibly a more robust, scalable solution.
You will not be on left on your own. Our initial Chief Architect which created our existing architecture is still part of our team but is moving into an advisory role so they will still be available as a resource.
In addition, to the above, a bonus would be a candidate with experience creating/connecting APIs as we are in discussions with integrating with other company's platforms.
